A FINELY CARVED ALTAR FIGURE FROM THE CONGO ( No 1938)

This is a finely depicted altar figure from the Pende tribe of the Congo.  A detailed carving style.  Moderate size, with stylised arms and hands.  The patina is niveky developed.  In good condition with wear and weathering. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 24cm
