A SCULPTURAL FLUID GOURD WITH WOVEN NATURAL FIBRE DECORATION, TUTSI TRIBE OF RWANDA ( No 1321)

This is a large and beautifully decorated fluid gourd from the Tutsi tribe of Rwanda, East Africa. Simple shape with a plump, fluted spout and round pumpkin-like bottom, covered in natural woven fibre.  Features a used patina.  In good condition., with wear.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 45cm
