A deep, generously proportioned traditional gourd and leather container from the Turkana tribe of Kenya, east Africa. From a UK collection.  Features trade bead decoration.  Has a round bottom, so it requires a ring. It is wonderfully patinated, with a small metal indigenous repair, and other neat stitch repairs.  It is obviously antique.  In good condition, with some wear and weathering. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 60cm
