This is a very solid and large, well patinated  headrest from the Dinks people of EAstern Africa. Has a super sculptural and stylized form with cattle heads at each end, their ultimate symbol of wealth.  Has a deeply worn, warm and soft patina with substantial proportions.   A rare example in great condition.  Made of a heavy and dense African hardwood that feels like quality in the hands.
