A FINE DINKA SHIELD WITH INLAID METAL DOT FACE, E. AFRICA( No 2073 )

This is a strikingly decorated parrying shield from the Dinka people of East Africa. Has fine form and  features handmade inlaid metal dots in the form of a face.  Rare to find because it’s an unusual example.  Made from a solid African hardwood.   In good condition, with wear We guarantee that this item has been tribally used.
