A WARMLY PATINATED 3 LEGGED HEADREST FROM KENYA ( No 2226)

This is a gorgeous, softly patinated headrest from the Rendille people of Kenya.  Has a well balanced and splayed three legged form.   Made from a very attractive russet coloured African hardwood.  The patina is beautifully developed with a gloss, warmth and wear commensurate with tribal use. In good condition with wear. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. w approx 30cm
