A WOVEN NATURAL FIBRE BASKET FROM TUTSI TRIBE RWANDA( No 2241)

This is a neatly woven and repaired coil natural fibre basket from the Tutsi tribe of Rwanda. Simple coil construction that is  extensively traditionally repaired.  Features a nicely used patina.  In good condition, with wear.  This is a tray, is just photographed upright but does not stand unassisted.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. width approx 35cm
